Bourbon Country Shave Journal - Dave in KY

I’m sure I wouldn’t like that scent, but the label is pretty cool.

Nice read. I haven't used that soap maker since they were call How to Grow a Moustache. It used to melt and pour back then pretty sure it's not anymore though.

Hope bingo is getting easier for you.

2019 Shave # 132 ( 185 Consecutive Shaves )
Razor: Charcoal Goods Level 2 SB
Blade: Rapira Platinum Lux (1)
Brush: Paladin 26mm Honey Noir Beehive LE
Soap: Stirling Ramblin Man
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Stirling Ramblin Man

I can't place this scent but it seems sooooo familiar and I LOVE it. Nice shave today with Stirling Ramblin Man and I need the EdT next cart buy at Stirling. The Charcoal Goods swiped everything off efficiently. Just a few weepers around the mouth area that all sealed with the Alum. Day off but smelling good. Have a great day Cadre !!!

I was very tempted to get some of that last night but i generally don't get to keep much citrus anything unless it is a pure lime or lemon.

Nice shave Dave. Not sure what the scent is on the Ramblin Man, but I like the name lol.
This is one that had the initial freshness of citrus but the predominant for me is the base notes. Not a heavy citrus to me. YMMV
"The newest addition to the "Stirling Man" lineup. An intensely masculine blend of citrus top notes, sandalwood middle notes, and a dense base of musk, cedar, and ambergris. This is certainly a scent that will stick with you and bring others in for a closer whiff."

I quite like citrus. The problem is that usually means at least some level of orange oil and any of that will trigger my wife's allergies. What really sucks is that includes bergamot. found that out the hard way

That sounds right in the wheel house for me, I will check that one out...nice set up Dave!

A day off and a good shave. Great looking setup too. Life is good!
Thanks Tim. Days off mean work at home though. Just stopped to eat lunch and catch my breath. Now back to working on the soffitt. I need 1 more length of Vinyl to finish but I'm capping the facia where it is done. Can't handle this ladder work like I used too, but I'm getting there. Paint and screening to follow at some point. This 12 x 21 deck has been a labor of love as I've had time over a period of several years and I pride myself that I built the entire thing by myself. I believe I had the wife hold a board for me in place 3 different times, but other than that It's been a 1 man show.
