Indeed it is haha!

I have some things coming down the pipe, just having a hard time making a decision on some of it. That’s my biggest thing, I can never decide so I just put it off and then I forget about making the purchase all together!

Razor: Rockwell 6s Plate 5
Blade: Pol Silver SI (5)

Brush: Brad Sears Arley 28 mm

Soap: DG Icarus Dirtyver

Aftershave 1: Nivea 2 in 1 Aftershave
Aftershave 2: Aqua Velva

Internet was down so just now getting the 3 o'clock shave logged. The DG Dirtyver sample was a little dry compared to others recently. I had more than what I needed in the bowl which didn't transfer to the brush as well since it was dry I guess. After getting a decent lather going I got an excellent 3 pass shave but was a little thin even though slick. After finishing I realized a good portion of the sample was still in the bowl under the lather. Just couldn't get it to the brush when I was working it I guess. Not the brushes fault and I do love this thing. It seemed to be a harder soap from the sample and was caught in the ridge at the bottom of the bowl. The scent to me was REALLY nice, a fresh and green but at the same time earthy scent. They describe it as their devolution of Vetiver. Into the Clown Puke tub went the rest. Not feeling great and as usual have teaching assignments at services tonight so called the early day off early after getting done what I had to. Now I have the day to get things lined out for tonight and can get caught up sleepwise with a nap hopefully. Have a great day Cadre!!!

Wish you could have got the full effect from the soap. Not really sure where you stand on it. But that is one of the best looking brushes I have ever seen!

Thanks for the comments gents. I like the soap and know it is a great base. I would have used it again before putting in the clown tub if I didn't have so many to go thru. The Icarus is elite stuff and I really liked this scent.
