Little bit more relaxed, shave this morning. Was up before the Dawn so I figured a nice straight razor shave with the Viking would be appropriate.
Matched with Arran Lochranza, made for the perfect shave

Finished up with Litsea Cubebe from @CBLindsay and the EDT from Lochranza. So a nice three pass Viking Scottish inspired shave to start the day.

Simple, easy, quick with a little Italian flare at the end. Classic Williams paired with aqua Velva, the MD carbon fiber brush the Gillette red tip and Ferrari Bergamotto finish everything off.

A nice quick DSBBS shave to start to finish out my first week back at the shop

Well, the first week back in the shop after vacation is always taxing, getting the body and the ergonomics back to not get too tired. This was no exception with the fact that we got home late. I had to reschedule some appointments and so I was averaging somewhere between between 20 and 30 appointments a day this entire week so thank God this is my Friday

A nice way to get through. It is with PDP 63. That matched with the Gillette super adjustable, black beauty, the DK badger and all the other accoutrements made it a very nice three past DSBBS shave.

Lemon and lavender were the theme of the day. After a fantastic drinks and Dave show last night I realized I had not used the Darwin DE razor and quite some time very aggressive not the smoothest but it’s just a joy to use.

Matched it with the Darwin, shave soap and aftershave the blackbird, shaving brush, Thayers Lavender, and finishing off with the Panama EDP. A nice lemony citrus, Italian fragrance.

First day back at the shop for the week, and I hope everybody has a good week

Well, it’s Thursday, which means day two of my four day work week. Things have slowed down just a little bit now that I’m caught up for when we were late getting home from vacation.

Today I wanted something simple but very good so MWF, Sorrentino,Thayers Lemon, Ruezel, and Penhaligon’s sports car club to finish everything up

A very nice DSBBS shave for the day

Some big big news on the horizon hopefully I’ll be available to make an announcement on Friday or Saturday of this week, but I think it will be a nice debut

It’s Friday it’s all about the green and straight razor Friday. Still one of my favorite set up is PCN Nuavia Verde

Such a wonderfully green crisp and bright scent perfect for a warm summer day. Using the pallet and PK 47 in Jade and finishing off with the Verde aftershave balm, CBL witch hazel and of course ADG to finish it off

Day 3 with Mr. Holiday, and a few challenges for him. 1. The Blackland Blackbird Ti..... the most aggressive razor I own, and as a DE it rivals the blade feel of a straight... So can Doc create a cushion and glide to out draw Doc. Indeed in can! 2. can the M & F Nemesis brush hold on to lather and destroy the soap, as it has done for a good number of soaps, and ruin the shave. NOPE Doc wins again.

As I mention in yesterdays video, I think that Doc Holiday with end up the number one soap in the den on ALL factors. More testing however for the rest of the week for a final eval nest Sunday.

1.Will I get sick of shaving with a set for 7-days?
2. with the variety of razors and brushes to be used will Doc Fail?
3 Will Doc become the supreme soap in the Shop and Den
4. Client feedback from the shop as I will be using it exclusively for customer shaves

We shall see. today a nice 3-pass DSBBS shave. This is fast becoming "My Huckleberry"

I loaded the sample of DBS soap this morning with an Old Spice scent for a grand total of 4 seconds. Bowl lathered and got ridiculous quantities of lather. Total time from brush load to face.....45 seconds. Chris created a serious winning base.

It's Drinks & Dave's Day, and a Grail day as well!

Grail day is here! after 10 yrs of searching, finally I got the razor to complete my collection. No more hunting, and the final slot in the Razor case is filled.... Now on to more Jeep Stuff, Corvetter stuff, Cigars and Watches. Anyway, thanks to @Luecke3262 for finding, restoring and putting a fantastic JNAT edge, that feels more like a dilucot / arkucot edge. Very smooth and Space Time cutting sharp, but not harsh. Also being D&D day of course CBL Drinks & Daves. A cigar / scotch lounge in a shave set. Perfect for the show tonight!

3-passes and DSBBS +10 G finished off with Floris Islay An Epic shave

Well, took a day off from Mr. Holiday to break in my grill razor and it’s a good thing I did because coming back to Doc. Holliday was absolutely fantastic.
Today with the Gillette, super adjustable, a.k.a. Ed, and Sorrentino providing the hard work the dock holiday continues to vault itself to the top of the den.

Three passes today and DSBBS with generous classes of the aftershave used as an EDT as well and that peach huckleberry goodness with the tombstone vibe is perfect

Also, some other news it looks as if CBL soaps is almost completely sold out of this. Just an absolute amazing interest in 24 hours. I think there’s still a few available so make sure you get yours and then of course I’ll have it available through the shop once he sells out. If you like CBL soaps, as well as the hombres collection. Don’t miss out on this one.
