The picture says it all. A wonderful three past DSBBS shave with the GOAT of Penhaligons

Time to shoot out another letter to their corporate headquarters, begging for them to bring back the true frags of Penhaligon’s

I am sure, that it will be met with deaf ears. At least I have enough stock for a year or two.

As is typical with Penhaligon’s, the scent is what saves the shave. Typically, other than Sartorial, most of the defunct shave soap, options with Penhaligon’s were mediocre at best. Sudzy, foamy, and literally no glide, slickness or residual slickness.

Again, the fragrance is what saves it. Although, a DSBBS shave it was not easy to get there. The soap itself can be over hydrated extremely easy so you literally need to start with a dry brush and add water at such minuscule levels to get a halfway decent shave. It is a step above the worst shave soap ever, we all know that that is Eucaris.

Anyway, nice to finish the shave, a little bit of lavender witch hazel and of course, the Bayolea aftershave and fragrance
