BarberDave's Shaveapalooza

Date: 05.06.2020 SR Shave #1730
Razor: JP Alcamisi "General Badoglio" 6/8'
Brush: HL Thater / 2-band Silvertip
Soap: VSC Champaign Lady
Aftershave: Penhaligon's Bayolea
EdT: L'Occitane Cedrat

Early shave, Late entry due to fantastic TSC Cadre Zoom call with the Families. IF you have not joined us you should, they are a ton of fun, and the spouses are showing up too, It is basically as if we are all headed to the pub to shoot the breeze, play a few games, talk shaving, and solve all the worlds problems. Our next one will be Wednesday of next week. Hope to see you there.

Today's shave was smooth as silk and was nice to take a straight razor around the track again. The previous racing stripes were healed enough to have no issues and the Alcamisi's edge was just perfect. Champaign Lady is from a small artisan that is very much into WWII aviation and such most of the soaps are named that way. This is lemon, lavender and Menthol, and for a non-tallow soap it lathers fantastic.

3-passes + a bit of cleanup for a DSBBS shave, a bit of talc a couple of Vasilli's of the Cedrat , made for a great shave to start the day.
