no it is in there regular line. If you like Neroli this one is nice, however it does fleet a bit and for that price I expected more. Tom Fords Neroli Portofino is my all time favorite, but cannot keep it around long enough LOLHadn’t heard of that one. Is it one of their special lines?
I would like to find a Cabernet Savignon, or Merlot Scented soapHadn’t heard of that one. Is it one of their special lines?
Stick with the T Ford on the Neroli Portofino, it is unreal. The only Creed scent I keep around anymore and keep re-buying is Aventus overall my favorite scent next to English FernI hear ya, I stopped my interest in Creed after I tried a couple and they didn’t have staying power on me. But the name sounds like it would be a winner.
Talked about that for a while with Chris of the flaming eyeballs fame. I think wine scents are too complex to replicate. I haven’t smelled a single thing that was supposed to smell like wine that really did.I would like to find a Cabernet Savignon, or Merlot Scented soap
Agreed but in essence if you look at the structure and chemistry of Wine it is very similar to scent profiles with TOP MIDDLE and BASE notes. one for the olfactory and one for the palate. I think I may play around a bit as I have Oak, Cherry, Chocolate in EO and see if I can reverse engineer something LOLTalked about that for a while with Chris of the flaming eyeballs fame. it does, I think Ozone or s strong acidic scent would take that sweementss out, and may be the keyOf note, ALL wine scented items have a note of sweetness that shouldn’t be there. There’s a sharp acidity that’s missing. I’m not sure what you might be able to use to include that. The difference between bright and vibrant vs flat and slobby if that makes any sense.
Well with Juniper Sling you smell like a Gin & Tonic, So I wanted to give the Vino it's due LOLSo let me get this straight. You want to smell like wine?
How ya doing officer? No I haven't been drinking. That's my cologne. Yikes.
Well it could end up like this knowing me.......I don't drink spirits, so I don't favor anything that smells like them, be it gin, wine, or beer. Always fun to experiment, though. Reverse engineering the scent sounds like Science to me, and I'm always going to fall on the side of Science. Go for it, Dave!

SV Opuntia Shave Soap, Aftershave
Late afternoon shave today after a ton of chores around the ranch.. Finished up painting two sheds, some fence work, and a couple of run-ins with Rattlesnakes ( now in my freezer awaiting deep frying) and one very pissed off mama Javelina when I stumbled upon her in the shade of an overgrown mesquite on the back part of my property. Too bad I did not have a tag, nor being allowed to discharge the rifles in close proximity to my neighbors, or otherwise she would have joined the two Diamondbacks in the freezer for some Javalina Chili, Birria, and Sausage. The final disruption today was Sharon's Lazy ass sister whom could not lift a finger to help with her mom, while Sharon had a migraine. OOh the Lord tests me so to keep my mouth shut to keep the peace..... "Serenity Now" LOL
So I needed a nice luxurious shave and of course SV never disappoints. 3 passes DSBBS and finally was able to relax and enjoy the wonder that is SV Opuntia and the Fantastic shave that the LdV afford.
Set-up:
I will save some for you, usually I bred it and fry it, but since on KETO I may try dredging it in egg and coating with grinded up spicy pork rinds, as to the Javelina, Very tough best in Chili, Sausage or Birria, I will see if I have any left in the freezer, but I doubt it. I also have a few Bobcat filets still. if you are brave enough So good.Roller coaster of a day but sounds like it ended well enough.
I have yet to try snake or javelina. kinda curious though
I once had some bacon wraped Mountain Lion at a rehearsal dinner in texas. big cat tastes good lolI will save some for you, usually I bred it and fry it, but since on KETO I may try dredging it in egg and coating with grinded up spicy pork rinds, as to the Javelina, Very tough best in Chili, Sausage or Birria, I will see if I have any left in the freezer, but I doubt it. I have yet to have Mountain Lion, but an old Insurance Client of mine is a cattle rancher and he gets one about once a year, as if they go after his cattle he can take them down, and has told me he likes it better than anything, I may have to bug him for one. I would imagine Bobcat is similar. I hear the marbling is amazing in Mountain Lion. The only stumbling block is that it is Sharon's favorite animal. In fact we have an entire room adorned with them, so that may be a non-started for me LOLI once had some bacon wrapped Mountain Lion at a rehearsal dinner in texas. big cat tastes good lol
