ROFL, nope no more holes, now it is ducks, chickens, sitting on the back porch stalking bobcats and bird of prey ( that want said ducks and chickens) having no more room for eggs, and cutting hair... a simple life with no hole digging...... Well except for the rather large expensive one ( 5-figures) just dug to replace our septic system.

Life is grand LOL

Well at least break out the ladder once in awhile.

Pre-shave: Hot Towel 25/50 on Linen/Leather
Post: Lucky Tiger Aftershave Salve / Cold Towel & Rinse / 30 laps on Trans-Ark / 25 linen /50 leather

Filarmonica 12 Doble Temple 5/8
Sorrentino Barzini GITD / Cashmere Synthetic
Saponificio Varesino Opuntia Shave Soap / Aftershave Splash
MK Tribute Cologne

Late entry today due to some items that needed attention. More on that in the "homefront". Back to a nice relaxing shave today. SV Opuntia needs no introduction as it and the SV 70th are still fighting over which soap is top in the den. IMHO there is not another manufacturer that can compete, some are very close, but none are SV in all performance aspects, not to mention all natural. With a soap like that of course a special brush and the Sorrentino Barzini GITD ( glow in the dark ) had to be the one. It is by far the finest looking brush I have in the stable and the Cashmere knot is again, IMHO, the best synthetic knot out there. You would think with a top tier shave like this, it would be followed by some obscenely expensive fragrance.... You would be wrong. $39.95 Mary-Kay for Men Tribute Cologne. Super stuff and Sharon's fave.

3-passes today very relaxed and methodical, in fact I spent over 30-minutes shaving LOL. The result, a very nice DSBBS (G)(10) shave. Perfection! followed by the Opuntia AS, some talc and the Tribute and ready to face a frustrating day dealing with...............................

On the homefront:
Well as I was heading home from the Shop yesterday some ( I will say person ) decided to rearrange the back of my truck by using it at a stopping device from 45mph to 0mph. Roads were slick but as in Tucson fahion they had no idea what they were doing, locked up and tacked sideways into me while was at a stop light ( yes that big signal with a freaking huge red bulb on it ). I was lucky enough to see it coming and release my brakes to allow for some relief of the kinetic energy transfer, but I am a bit sore today. I am impressed with how the truck faired and was able to drive it home.

So today was dealing with all that crap, adjuster, take to the shop, get a rental. Blah, blah blah. So far claim is going well.... I may have thrown in I had been in the insurance business for almost 30-yrs HEHE. They became very nice. So this is my ride for the next 30-days or until the Copper Monster is fixed.

Anyway here was my shave set-up today:

Have a Good Day Folks

Glad you’re OK after the truck rearrangement!

Tribute was a good one. The missus sells, she’s got me on Cityscape and High Intensity right now. Both are pretty decent for me when I’m not rocking a stronger AS on its own.

ooh I have note heard of those......I may need to investigate, LOL

Ouch! Glad you walked away unscathed Dave. Luckily you’ll be getting your ride back too. I work for a salvage car auction as my full time gig (we auction off totaled cars for insurance companies mostly) and I see vehicles with less damage not getting repaired due to lazy/incompetent field appraisers. Sounds like you either got yourself a good adjuster, or you scared the crap out of them with your career history 😂😂😂

Sorry about the truck but at least the other drivers was up-to-date on his Facebook.

So True... and see you wanted more action and less C-SPAN, LOL

Thanks, and I did indeed say in no uncertain terms I wanted the vehicle fixed since they dont make these anymoe

Bad news about the truck. I do have to say I had to snicker a little with the big red and white sign in view saying "slow down!". Sorry about that....
Maybe he was trying to read it.
Glad you weren't hurt and that you are getting repairs done though.
