Pre-Shave Lather / Hot Towel & Rinse / 15 Laps TM linen / 50 laps TM Strop

Post-Shave: Lucky Tiger Aftershave Salve / Cold Towel & Rinse
30-laps Trans-Ark Hone / 25 Higgins English Linen / 50
Westholme Fast Draw

Koraat "Ice Dragon" 6/8 Damacus
Sorrentino Barzini-Tron / Cashmiere Synthetic
CBL Ghost Dragon's Blood Shave Soap
Speick Aftershave Splash
Bleu de Chanel EdP

Was very excited to try out TRON this morning, as I had never tried a cashmiere knot before. A bit soft, but not too floppy and the face feel is like an angels eyelashes. I must state Eric knocked this one out of the park with the Teal & Burl shockwood, and the inset rings just add to it, not to mention the TSC branding of course. BTW that is not photo shopped, it is actually glowing. As expected the CBL Dragon's Blood begged the Ice dragon to come out and play this morning.

The shave was cold and brilliant. Just the right touch of cooling agent, with the warmth f the dragon's breath truly a GOT shave.

3-passes + a wee bit of cleanup for a DSBBS (8) shave. Used the last of my current bottle of Speick, so I guess I will be ordering more soon. This and Pitralon, aside from SV of course are probably the most nourishing and refreshing aftershaves made IMHO. After the final splash of Speick, three Vasilli's of the BDC and all was wonderful.

Set-up:

Hope y'all had a great day

Very cool! Good to know about Pitralon, I have a couple types stashed. I’m not so hyped on the F brand though.

How long does the glow last?

Brilliant shave Dave and a great combination of scents! Your brush is definitely the envy of the shaving world!

Nice shave there Dave. And for the record, I don't need to be looked over, i'm an angel!

Monday's are a good 2nd day off, everything is open and you can get a ton is errands and business done. Plus, of course, it allows for a lazy morning shave with the pinnacle of shave products IMHO.

Today's menu included Mirto di Sardegna. Based on the top notes if Lemon, Lime and Lavender, one would think this is more of a spring/summer scent, however when you get into the middle and base notes of Myrtle, amber, and tea ( which brings a peppery, almost Earl Grey spice to the soap ) you begin to see the fact that this can be used year round. The peppery spice from the tea is front and center as it plays with the lemon/lime. The base notes complete the tri-fecta with Sandalwood, White Moss and Vetiver to even futher bring out the pepper note. A very nice scent profile.

The Shave, couple with the above, plus the Koraat and SV brush, just amped up the overall shave into grail territory. The finish of Grey Flannel, was just the icing on top for a fantastic morning shave.

Again, I have fallen WAY behind on your journals and hope to rectify soon

Hope you all have a nice Monday

Hear Hear! I’ve come to love having Mondays off. The majority of a day to myself after and before a very busy, people-filled week.
