Jerry Stark 6/8 Damascus
Paladin PK-47 Jade / Select Badger
PanaCrema Nuavia Verde Shave Soap
Acqua Di Gio EdT.

Another late afternoon shave, for no other reason than I was lazy and like a slug after the morning of Duck Butlering, and it being just too darn hot. Started to make my 7-deadly shave sins list, and something came in that requires I re-work the list, LOL

Today being as blistering required another fresh, clean and bright shave. Nuavia Verde! That is the ticket as it is perfect for a hot day, does not require, or really even need an aftershave splash afterward, and sets the stage for a huge dose of AdG EdT to also refresh.

The Stark is just fun and scary at the same time, It is so smooth, but the point has not been dulled ( like the Chevalier ), and can cause ear removal, and sushi very easily. She just demands a bit of extra focus and slowing of the shave, which is a good thing when wanting to relax and set up a nice shave.

3-passes today and DSBBS leaning on Grail, but just a bit too hot to go for the chase, and with Murphy lurking, not need to give him a chance. Some Borotalco and a nice number of Vasilli's of AdG and good to go to settle in for a nice relaxing night in front of the tube, with nothing else to do.

Set-up:

Have a great evening Gents

Best not to tempt fate Dave given Murphy does seem to be making an appearance (at least in PA). Been a long time since he showed his face in my den.

Nice set up, Dave. And I'll have a Stark one of these days.

Somehow I think that your list could be revised almost everyday Dave!

Nuavia soaps are one of the few that I find I don't want an after shave...just more scent. Great choice on soaps and fragrance for a hot day.

That might be my favorite looking razor of yours Dave! Polished and Raw all in the same sentence...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!

Awesome set-up and shave today, Dave. Nuavia, while not one of my better performing soaps, is certainly still a great one and the Verde scent is phenomenal!

Thanks Walt, I thought that was odd.

Thanks Don and I agree I would love to see a matching Aftershave for this stuff

Thanks Josh, sorry it does not perform well for you, up until Opuntia, it was making a run for top soap in the closet, LOL

C.V. Heljestrand #8
Omega Hi-Brush /Omega Synthetic
WSP Neroli Formula T Shave Soap
Omega Aquae Aftershave Serum
Creed Neroli Savauge EdP

Mid Morining shave today, Was excited to use the New Creed scent so I had to build the shave around it. Oh.... the agony, LOL. WSP, not much to be said here and the Neroli, which is derived from the Seville orange, is perfect for a hot summer day, and very refreshing. The CVH7 came to play today, but I had to be a bit careful after yesterday's wielding of the Viking. This little gem is fast on the corners and always looking to give a kiss.

Pretty normal 3-pass shave with some cleanup for DSBBS. The Omega serum, if not the best, is a sure runner up as the BEST post shave product on the market. You use very little, it spreads wonderfully, and has sill proteins. This gives the face an great smooth finish. The Paladin balm comes close, but even then a few light-years off.

The main even was otherworldly! As with most Creed EdP's not much is needed, so 2-3 Vasilli's max. WOW, what a fragrance! Bright, orangy, crisp is the best way I can describe it. You are first hit with the Neroli, Bergamot, Grapefruit, lemon and Verbena, then a smack of orange blossom, before all the players settle in with the Whale "stuff" Ambergris. So it gives a creamy, powdery finish with all the citrus taking center stage at various times throughout the evolution of the fragrance. Great stuff.

Set-up:

HOMEFRONT: Sharon was kind enough to be the Chambermaid for our Royal Ducks, or "Le Factores de Poo". Lots of work but ours are broken. Yesterday after cleaning and re-filling their spa we witnessed two falls off a very short ramp to the pool and a ramp smackdown. After about 10- minutes of falling, being pushed, waddling and quacking for help, we could stand it no longer and threw them in. Ahh what a fun life, LOL. Anopther Domino night is upon us before Sharon and I try to get away for a few day trips. So no yard projects for a few days.. YAY!!

Hope you all enjoy your weekend!

What a great set-up, Dave. I was unaware of that new Creed frag - I'm intrigued. However, I'm curious as to the longevity; some of the Creed frags don't last long at all with me, the Vetiver, and the Royal Mayfair for example. But others have marathon legs.

(BTW, I do believe that you are testing us with Swede attention to detail: I believe that razor to be a No. 8 rather than a 7.)

OOPs LOL you are right I had the 7 on my hand and decided to use this one it is an 8 LOL. As to the frag I would place it on the same level as aventus longevity wise. But I get real good longevity with both Pen's and Creed, Tom fod on the other hand not so much, and this is a bit nicer frag than Neroli portofino

If SWMBO was not so sensitive to frags., I would likely have to work for the rest of my life paying for all of the frags. after reading your descriptions Dave. Sometimes the one thing about our spouses that really gets under our skin is exactly the right stuff we need.

LOL thanks Walt, There are a few which I love that have been given the Verbotten stamp by Sharon, I just smile and find others, LOL
