A very good Shave today as we headed to the Isle of Arran. Smokey, peaty, Anise and Patchouli perfect for a rainy misty day that stayed in the 70's most of the day. The Stark is a beast and requires as much respect as the Queen MK-32 All the fragrances played well together while the Pipers played in the background to the Poem "The Clan Remembers"

Quick shave before the weeks starts at the. Pre-Dawn, a nice cup of Black Coffee, and the Sunrise over the mountains make for a good start to the day
That being said Oro Valley was the obvious choice. Inspired by @Joe Hackett (Rod) and his bride were married in Oro Valley. Just a bit lower and South of us, it is a very nice community surrounded by the Catalina and Tortorlita mountains. These mountains separate the Northern Valleys and plateaus from Tucson proper. The soap reminds one of the smells of the SW and at sunset gives a Golden hue to the ragged cliffs and crags of Pusche Ridge
A nice transitional scent from summer to fall and captures the town of Oro Valley perfectly
3-passes and Not quite BBS as the razor is soooo mild. Good start to my Monday

A grab and go shave today. All items within an arms reach and one that would meld well. It is only my Tuesday and it has already been a long week. Yesterday was insanely busy after, and after getting to the shop at 0630, did not get home till near 8pm. Dinner, a cigar and started to watch a movie. Before we knew it dogs, cats, me , and Sharon were passed out on the couch.
So a Groggy shave today. All items you know and their performance. A nice shave, or at least what I remember of it before coffee LOL
The Omega Aquae is one of the best aftershaves as far as face feel that is made. Hard to find, and not overly scented. Nothing beats its face feel as it contains silk proteins. Good stuff
The Goodfellows, a Target brand is a nice EdT in the $20.00 range Good Cedar notes with the nice freshness of the Geranium

It’s My Friday, and Happy Saturday to you all. 2nd flight with the Dogfight and it did not disappoint. With oak moss, balsam, pine, juniper berry, and blue spruce it makes for a nice transition to the cooler mornings in the low 60’s
No need to brag on the Blackbird Ti, as it is just a great efficient razor. Thayers and Alum as per norms and a few Vasillys of the EdP, and ready to a busy day at the shop, followed by a nice 3-days off

Fun shave today. Whether you call it Soda, Pop, or simply "a coke", today's shave highlighted the Cola. I personally am an RC fan, however that is harder to fine, but Coke is always a winner.. Nowadays it is Virgils, as it is sugar free and Keto.
The shave was made perfect with the Boker. A very light weight razor, which can present some challenges if a too much pressure is used....Yes a meat slicer. This morning however, she was nice to me. 3-passes and DSBBS. Of all the "Cola" inspired shave gear, this is the closest to a true cola fragrance. Not necessarily Coca-Cola, but an amalgamation of all the delicious colas from your youth. A nice strong fragrance that lasts through the shave and enhanced by the aftershave milk. A nice hydrating splash.
Cardamom is the predominant frag note on most colas, but I dont have many EdT's with that note so Royall Musk did the job and extends that cola spice.
Today was a easy going morning with some coffee and a cigar on the patio ( finally nice and cool enough for that ) then some laundry for both the house and Shop, as well as another nice Cigar, and tonight we are going to a Bosnian Restaurant. We have driven by it a bunch of times, but never stopped. It was highlighted on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Drives last night. so no time like a Sunday Date night. I have some good and not-so-good memories of Bosnia and the War when I spent time there in the Service, and witnessed things that can only be described as nightmares of war, Chef Alisah after all the toils him and his family were subject to during the "Ethnic Cleansing" of an evil ruler, made it to Tucson, as a refugee, and has made good by sharing his cuisine with us here.

It's English Fern and perfect for Barber errand day. You know it , you love it, and it provided a very good shave. The non-tallow version of EF's Soap can be a bit inconsistent in lathering, but today, loading from the dry puck, gave a nice, although thin later for the Crat to skate around on. The rest of the shave went well and the title page to my video is a perfect interpretation of English Fern An English Wood, a Knight and Clean linen drying in the wind
