STARDATE: AD 20180406 - SR shave #904

Pre-Shave Lather Hot Towel & Rinse / 50 Laps T. Miller Strop pre-shave
30 laps Trans Ark / 25 laps English Linen / 50 laps Westholme
Lucky Tiger Post Shave Salve / Cold Towel &
rinse

Jerry Stark 7/8 Extreme French Point
Matt DeRuiter "F1" / HMWM

Mystic Water Jasmine Shave Soap
Midnight Red Aftershave Balm
Scuderia Ferrari Black EdT

Nice mid-morning shave today and a return to what I feel is Michelle's Best soap as far as fragrance is concerned. It is just magical. It has been quite awhile since I had used any of these as they were buried, but I re-arranged the soap locker and have committed to go shelf by shelf and used the soaps that way...... maybe...... LOL

The Chopper is still cutting like a meat slicer smooth and efficient. Every time it is still a bit intimidating, what with the radical lines. It is still the biggest razor in the den.... Well until the Riga gets here some day, or I find a FBU for a reasonable price.

3-passes and a bit of AA cleanup for DSBBS. finished off with a gift aftershave balm clone of Polo Red ( IT IS JUNK) basically it is lubriderm lotion in a tube with a nice fragrance ( YUK). Save the day with some Borotalco and the Ferrari Black which is always nice.

Plus with the weird start to the F1 season it felt appropriate. good shave today.

Set-up:

Have a fantastic Day

Nice shave...though this is one of the first times I've seen you reference a product that way. Made me laugh, ?. Love that razor...one of the reasons I went ahead with a razor from Jerry!!

A belated congratulations on 900 Dave. That is a lot of shaves. I know you did not start out with the number of straight razors that you now have, but that is like 12 to 13 shaves per razor just doing the division. I think that you need to get your razor count up to 100 so that you can use each one ten times for every Kshave (Kiloshave).

Well it was a gift from the boss when she was not educated in the shaving realm, as she is now. I keep it for her and never use it, but she mentioned it today so I did, and finally told her it was crap, but told her I would use it to re-pack wheel bearings on the car, LOL

Thanks Josh

Somehow I missed your shave yesterday. I need to pull out my MW Jasmine. Great scent.
