4th Annual February "One Blade" Challenge!

They call it foam because that’s what it is. Foam comes from a can and that’s what most people use. When you build it yourself by adding water to a cream or soap, it’s lather.
I will have to put up my soaps, then you can tell me what i make

Moved over to the Claymore Evolution, 9th shave, just need a two-pass now for a bbs, this might make the blade last even longer. The Claymore is just a little bit smoother shave than the Halk V3, but both are fantastic razors. My lather was wonderful, creamy and yogurt in feel.

My Feather blade (18 shaves) is struggling. There's a LOT of tugging and I am not sure it will survive to the end of the month.
Have you tried a different razor? Sometimes I’ll go to a more aggressive razor and find it works well with a “broken in” blade. Alternatively, I find my torsion “twisted head” slant razors stiffen up the blade and give more life to a struggling blade.

Still going strong on the Treet Black Beauty. I am stropping it every day and honing it about every other day with good results. The blade really hasn't degraded much.

EDIT: Between the Williams, the carbon steel blade, and the honing and palm stropping I really am shaving like my grandfathers might have during the Great Depression. It is kinda nice. The only thing that would make it complete is to be using a DE from that era.

Yeah a Gillette Goodwill and a cheap boar brush and I think you’d be transported back in time!

Still using my Rapira and going well. It’s definitely getting close to the end but the month is almost up so it’ll make it. Switching to my Diamondback has worked to extend the life of the blade.
