Well the bad blade series took a day off today. But more on that later. The shave today was very nice, effortless. The lather was very good today, and the Trade Winds is almost dust in the wind. Before yesterday's shave I smooshed it all down from the sides and the circle of death is back. It is going to be a constant battle going forward of making sure I have enough soap loaded for my shave. I suspect 6-8 shaves left. Which is good as I have stuff lining up and ready to go for new shaves! I have enjoyed the 3017 and am happy to finish it. Maybe I will try it again after some variety just to burn through some product. As I have a LOT!

Homefront.

Well yesterday I had a double header, and the athletic director didn't plan very well. He scheduled 4 games. All that evening in the same gym. Girls JV, Girls Varsity, Boys JV, Boys Varsity. Usually not a problem if you start around 2:30PM. He started at 3PM, and only scheduled each game for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Needless to say we were behind! My 5:30pm didn't start until 6:15PM. All the games where close these where games between region rivals, so close and competitive. So I got home late hit the hay, and totally spaced researching the next DE blade. Don talks about exercise in areas well according to Mr. Fitbit I ran 11 miles between the two games yesterday. and burned 4800 calories. Because I was heading home so late and I was hungry I stopped at what was open and sadly ordered a Whopper at Burger King with french fries. So you know ... ruined what I just did. I really need to stop doing that LOL. Fast food is too convenient.

Have a good day cadre.

You planned ahead and came out even calorie-wise!

I am a fast food junky but I can pass up a Whopper, I just don't like Burger King. They have decent nuggets (chicken?) so I guess I could load up on those but I will never eat a BK burger again. I actually enjoy the basic McDonald burger or Cheeseburger, the new Quarter pounder is surprisingly tasty but it must be eaten HOT or it looses it's appeal.

LOL I guess

Hey you earned that burger

I suppose so

Giving your face a rest before the dollar store razor huh?

I starting to get used to bad shaves. It don't skeer me!

I really hate to admit this but I am also a fast food junkie. The newer patties McD's is using on the Quarter Pounder and their specialty burgers are actually pretty good. But man I have soft spot for a Spicy McChicken.

Well another shave on the CF Trade Winds. And today I was really ready to be done, but the end is in sight. So to help ease my mind before walking out the door I spritzed on some GTB cologne and I feel a bit better about it. I also grabbed a brush that I haven't used in maybe years. It is a very FLOPPY brush but does a great job at whipping up lathers. The shave today was really nice and I got a wonderful BBS so no complaints on that end.

So I am pretty up to date on the site except for videos. Sadly yesterday through Friday I am on a conference planning call that is lasting about 7 hours each day. So no time to watch videos. Unless you guys are going to start adding closed captioning LOL. Just a single basketball game tonight and I am looking forward to just one. The double headers are starting to wear on me. And the referee shortage which has forced working on Saturday is also wearing on me. The season only has about 3 weeks left. But I am starting to feel it. Double header tomorrow and Saturday. I am ready for the off season. I am going to take like 2 weeks off, and then hit the gym hard on strength training. I want to add more muscle before the start of football season.

Anyways have a good day cadre.

NurseDave is the editing guru of late....................maybe he can hold a workshop on adding closed captioning. Shame to be "over" the season but totally understand when being overworked on it

Holy smokes, 21 hours of conference? Must be some big things in the works?

Kind of. It is really difficult because we have people all on the call from 3 different centers. NY, Chicago, and Utah. Guess what timezone we are using? EST. So lunch today is at 10:30AM. UGH!

I couldn't stay awake for that!

I have the cadre to keep me up

I know!

Dave... we are waiting!

You have 7 hour conference calls multiple days in a row? That’s insane, how do you get anything else done?

I work from home after the kids are asleep

Stand up and walk out of the room. Although the plant in the corner might work. But that could put me in HR.

Well today was a nice shave. This blade is proving to be a very nice blade. The soap is slowly disappearing. I am still hopeful it will be gone within the next 6 shaves. Time will tell.

Homefront:

So yesterday I had a single game it was a JV Girls game. When we got to the school and took the floor. No visiting team was there. Well game time came and they still were not there. And calling the athletic director and coach no answer. Was real strange. Never have had a straight out forfeit like that before. Since we were already there and have to be paid, we agree to officiate a scrimmage for them. Well they did the game JV Girls vs. JV Boys. That sure was interesting and honestly the most fun I have ever had officiating a game. It was also the most thank yous I have ever received from coaches, players, and fans. It turned out to just be a great experience for everyone involved.

Anyways back to the grindstone, and working a double header tonight.

I assume the missed game wasn’t a weather issue? Very strange to have no contact from anyone! Glad it turned into a fun night still.

A no-call no-show does sound like a strange forfeit, but it sounds like a fun night was had by all.
