Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Razor: Timeless .68
Blade: Qball Platinum Plus (2)
Soap/cream: Chiseled Face Trade Winds (19)
Brush: Razorock Plissoft Beehive
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel

Well had another very nice shave today, and walked away BBS once again. The circle of death is getting bigger. I am assuming after 2 more shaves I will need to push everything back down. I am thinking 10 shaves left. And to be honest soaps at this consistency getting a months worth of shaves doesn't seem too bad. I still have a hoard though.

I am going to make a clown puke soap today, I will post what all the soaps are that I am putting in it. Should be fun.

Woke up and after sleeping in a tad long we were running late for mass but we did make it there in time which was good. Then the dreaded trip to Costco after. Bye bye $250 That store is a real wallet killer LOL! Anyways trying to relax today and catch up around the TSC a little bit. Have a great sunday Cadre.

Just $250? Seems like the trips are getting less and less expensive! Last trip was $350...right?

Great stuff, Chad. I have a tub of clown puke around somewhere, but used no discretion in what was added to it. I just threw all my existing samples in. Might have to make another with a little more forethought.

What’s this? You don’t make several rounds on the sample stands?

Well that is a given! Best way to keep kids calm while going through the store.

I’m a slice of cheese pizza man myself.

The pizza is delicious.

It actually freed up some space. Was a good idea. Because a lot of these samples weren't near full enough to warrant sending out to others.

Well decided that since I have the day off I would change up the bad blade series a little bit and grabbed a different razor, and recorded a vlog entry. Going through the editing process now.

Anyways the shave went well and I quite enjoyed it. I whipped up an excellent lather and the donut hole at the bottom of the tub is getting bigger. I will probably take the back of a spoon and push down the sides tonight and get everything back into the middle. I still think I have 10 shaves left, so should end at 30 shaves.

A blizzard is currently hitting so we are snowed in. Had to cancel the kids' dentist appointments that were for today, and they are moved to next month, they aren't complaining. So I think it will be a day of movies and relaxing. The storm is supposed to stop late this afternoon. So hopefully the commute into work tomorrow isn't bad.

Have a good day cadre.

I don't want the hassle of clearing snow, but would sure enjoy a day of watching it fall.

First off you all crack me up. Snow sucks it really does. We got roughly 14 inches of the stuff and SUPER WET! The storm was so big that plows haven't come through the neighborhood yet. It made for a slippery ride until on the main road. Anyways onto the shave.

Well today was an okay shave, but the blade didn’t deliver how I had hoped it would. I was left with a scraping feeling and a less than stellar shave. The soap continues to deteriorate quickly and I am noticing little chunks in my brush while lathering. It is like the soap is over hydrated, even though I have stopped blooming and have left the lid off for days now. Interesting to say the least.

Well as mentioned the storm was big, probably the biggest of the season thus far. The snow was very heavy too and hard to move. I can’t wait for spring. Anyways back to the grind at the office today. Have a good one Cadre.
