Nice entry. Enjoy the game and nose to the grindstone Mister on the eval

I know I know.

What did the kids ask Santa for?

Connor is still fairly cheap. Although he did throw a curveball LOL. He asked for dinosaurs, legos, and dinosaur legos. Then he goes, "Oh yea I would like an iPad so I can play whenever I want." We aren't ready for him to have one yet. But we did plan on getting a Vtech type tablet thing that has high parental controls and he can watch netflix on. So he is kind of getting what he asked for in a roundabout way. Sadie just kept saying, "babyy, baby, baby" She is really into dolls. Always has one with her.

Well today I reached for a favorite winter scent of mine. This is described as Crackling Birch and I really like this woodsy scent. It doesn't have the campfire on fire smell which is nice. But does have a slight smoky vibe to it. I really like this one, but any smokier and I am a no go for sure. The shave today went okay, lather was good. The blade is a no go for sure. It was not good.

I think I'd pitch those blades!

Yea if you are reading my bad blade series in the DE section of the forum. You will see they got a trash rating. I have 4 left. So need to think of 4 bad souls to send them to.

I'd send one to KJ but he'd probably shave it for like 70 shaves or something crazy like that.

I don't think I could ever get away with using a campfire scent. My wife hates the smell of bonfires and smoke. She doesn’t mind it if we're sitting in front of one, but afterwards she complains haha. I’m sure she would be less than thrilled if I smelled like that all day.

I hate self evals. I always tell my boss it’s in my own best interest to tell her how great I am, and I shouldn’t say anything bad because it’s not good for my self esteem. She always promptly tells me to cut the crap and get it done!

I'm in the same boat. I love smoky/campfire smells but my wife hates them. I have a sample of Texas on Fire from Stirling that i will probably try out before work in the next week or so. Hopefully it dissipates in the bathroom before she gets up.

Just after i had my eval for the year they announced that they will be changing how we do them next year but they haven't really told us how they will be done yet... should be "fun".

Thanks for reading guys but I think I described the soap wrongly. It is definitely NOT a campfire smell. Trust me I would not use it! Not sure how to better describe it.

Well after Dave of the Kentucky clan mentioned a new soap scent on the market that was pineapple and banana I thought hey I can do that! So I grabbed both from CBL out of my den and scooped a tiny bit out of each and pressed into my bowl. MMMMMMM so good! What a scent. I hope Chris plays around with this as I would like the pineapple scent to be stronger than the banana and in my mix at home the banana was stronger. But regardless i twas certainly nice! I finished the shave in the tropics with some Avon Island Lime. Good stuff!

Homefront:

Yesterday's game went well, and tonight I have a double header. Then the weekend is here. Full of wrapping and family time. Connor cries every night because I tell 4 more sleeps til Christmas. He wants it to be Christmas now! I think Christmas is going to be very fun this year with him. Sadie just wants to open the toys under the tree. Hope you all have a great weekend.

A very nice, fruity shave. I really need to catch up on the CBL soaps. Only have one of his commercial soaps at home, though I ordered a couple more.

Nice mash up Chad

Thank you

If figured you'd be mixing those up soon.....

Well I just had to.

Me too buddy. Me too.

You keep your banana shaves to yourself!

Oh Don you know you'd like it.
