Tinkering with grinder setting for my standard 1 pour brew method. Here's the time it took. Lost a little of the tasting notes I like from Peru single origin. Tried Going from 25 clicks to 20 clicks on Normcore V2 flat burr hand grinder. Also body got a little heavier. Gonna try 23 clicks to see if body does back to more tea like and hopefully get flavor notes back second picture attached is grinder time at 20 clicks

I've never (yet... let's be honest here) used one myself, but I've heard good things.
I use one practically every day. Specifically the XL model. 16:1 ratio. 185 degree water. Fine grind, not espresso fine but just a bit more coarse.

I use traditional setup not inverted. Add grounds. Initial pour of 90 grams of water. Stir for 10 seconds. Add the rest of the water. Insert plunger and let steep for 1:50. Remove plunger and stir for 10 seconds. Re- insert plunger and do a slow but steady plunge for 30 seconds and enjoy.

Are you using the original brew head or t one of the valves head accessory. I only got original since I got it from Wdlmart today

I took note of your brewing method, will try that out.
 
Different coffee from Local Roaster, Innkeepers Coffee
Mexican Custapec light roast. This is 1 of their light roast but to me it seems about a medium roast compared to what I usually get from Good Brother's Coffee.
Shooting for a light body with smooth flavor.
Definitely getting a nutty tasting note. And maybe dark chocolate. Tiny bit bitter. Aftertaste. Gonna try a little coarser grind. Maybe just 1 click because it's very close to where I want it.

Cool that you have your own "private label" coffee. Do roast it yourself or is it made up for you?
