TSC Watch List

What? This old thing?

The Cartier Santos, created in 1904 by Louis Cartier for aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, is considered the first wristwatch designed for men, born from Santos-Dumont's need for an easy-to-read timepiece while flying. It featured a square case, Roman numerals, exposed screws, and a leather strap, breaking from pocket watch tradition and becoming commercially available in 1911.

You fellers have winders, or do you let your automatics stop between outings? I have a two-head Orbita, but it doesn't get used much these days. It's pretty quick for me just to set 'em and go.

I have 3 winders just to have a few automatics ready to go and usually keep my two Omegas that don’t have a quick date setting on them. All the rest I just wear to work so they wind a bit and then set them when I get there.
