Oct.01 ASD2/SuperMax BD(3) ......... vintage boar#2 ........... Proraso White cream ............ Clubman milk

A nice hour-long 10am walk by the lake with my wife, followed by a noonish shave to start(?) the day after getting up at 6:30am to put out the garbage. Lots of "fun" running around to do today and I hope to find an hour in the late evening to relax. LOL

Happy Wednesday!

Yeah buddy! Trash day! Me too!!! Whoohoooooo!!! Got rid of two big boxes full of other broken down boxes and a bin full of tree parts. Next week I'm hoping for at least one bag of bubble wrap. Stay tuned...

Oct.02 ASD2/SuperMax BD(4) ......... vintage boar#2 ........... Proraso White cream ............ Clubman milk

Another nice and simple, easy-peasy shave this morning. After dropping my wife off at her sister's for an overnight stay, I get to relax and lounge around all day, enjoying my life of leisure .... unless you count afternoon bridge club, more pruning of our apricot and plum trees, and continuing my studies towards the financial planner title. Whee!

Happy Thursday!

Oct.03 ASD2/SuperMax BD(5) ......... vintage boar#2 ........... Proraso White cream ............ Clubman milk

A nice and productive day yesterday. I did make one change to my planned schedule; instead of tree pruning, I ate a large pizza. Yes, the sacrifices I make.

A nice 9am shave as I get ready to head out for a walk with our buddies. Wifey is spending most of the day at her sisters, so I get to plow through more course work.. Not sure if I will get around to pruning, but I do know that I will NOT eat another large pizza today. LOL

Happy Friday!

That would be the antithesis of Sam. The Anti-Sam if you will. A villian born of the circus and Red Bull campaign. A man with unlimited exuberance with one only goal. Fight MEH in every corner of the world.

Little know fact. That's why Sam lives where he does. A little hamlet cottage far away from the normal operations of Anti-Sam.

Oct.04 ASD2/SuperMax BD(6) ......... vintage boar#2 ........... Proraso White cream ............ Clubman milk

It is Saturday once again. It seems like we did this just last week. Meh, go figure.

A nice 10:30am shave after a few coffees and some toast with honey and the world looks good from where I am sitting. A walk by the lake is in the plans for today, as is more studying. Whee!

Happy Saturday!

Oct.05 ASD2/SuperMax BD(7) ......... vintage boar#2 ........... Proraso White cream ............ Clubman milk

With the last loads of laundry in the washer and the penultimate load in the drier, I grabbed a shave just before noon to close out the shave-week. As expected, a nice and simple experience, which is par for the course using the ASD2.

My Proraso White cream is near its end, with anywhere from 2 days to a week or so left. I always find it hard to judge when a product will actually be finished, so I don't really worry about exact timing overly much.

While shaving, my mind drifted away (you can do that with an ASD2!) and I thought about the GC plates I tried and started mulling over whether a LUPO base plate would fit with the ASD2 cap, as they both use a slot for cap & base plate alignment. Anyone have both?

Oct.06 ASD2/SuperMax BD(1) ......... Eagle G2 .................... Proraso White cream ............ Clubman milk

A switch over to the Eagle today and, strangely enough, while I love the handle, I think I like the vintage board knot better. OMG!!!!

It was an early afternoon shave as we walked this morning and had a coffee with our buddies before I tackled more tree pruning in the backyard for an hour or so. After that, a quick lunch of noodles, chicken and veggies, and the the whole shower and shave thingy.

Back to "Chippy," one of my vintage boars, today and another very nice easy-peasy rainy morning shave with the Proraso White cream on its last legs. All ready to get exhausted at kiddie chess club tonight!

With a "who knows how old soap ring" and all, here are "Chippy" and my Eagle.

Oct.08 ASD2/SuperMax BD(3) ......... vintage boar#2 ........... Proraso White cream ............ Clubman milk

An early (for me!) shave just before 9am as I was up early to put out the garbage and then gas up at Costco pre-7am before normal people think to do such things, and now we are just about ready for a morning walk by the lake before we meet up with a gaggle of friends for noon lunch for Greek.

Have a great hump day!

Oct.09 ASD2/SuperMax BD(4) ......... vintage boar#2 ........... Proraso White cream ............ Clubman milk

After a nice Greek lunch yesterday, I was so full that I ended up skipping supper. Breakfast this morning was a simple coffee and toast, so I guess my belly is still good right now as it's not screaming at me. A nice and easy shave once again with the Proraso on it's last legs with 1, maybe 2 at most, shaves left.

Today is a bridge lesson day (whee!) and then out for an anniversary supper with wifey before we tackle planning tomorrow for the Thanksgiving meal this weekend.

Oh yeah......its Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. That's a fun gift for @NurseDave . Lets hope he gets plenty of poutine on his perfectly roasted canadian goose. And a very large Labatt's to wash it down.

Oct.10 ASD2/SuperMax BD(5) ......... vintage boar#2 ........... Proraso White cream ............ Clubman milk

A mid-morning shave today and, yes, I can proclaim that tomorrow will be the last shave with the Proraso White cream. That would be about 2.5 months with the partial tube. Not shabby at all.

Today will see some grocery shopping for our Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday. It won't be overly large, with only about 6-7 folks total including us. That's a nice number and much easier to cook for and manage than 10-14.

Happy Friday!
