Up early at 6:30 to put out the garbage and foil the plans of various raccoons and skunks by denying them an extra late night dining spot. I am sooooo very mean.
After catching up on a few podcasts, morning coffee with SWMBO at 9 and then a nice and simple 2-pass shave with my ASD2 to allow the day to properly begin.

A late post for me but I did shave just before 10am this morning after a light breakfast of 2 coffees and 3 podcasts, but don't worry, I was assured they were low-calorie podcasts. LOL
Bridge club went very well with 35 people in attendance for my second lesson and one of the two VERY good players in the audience came up to me afterwards and commented that he was quite impressed with how I presented the topic (counting winners in No Trump) and made it understandable even for beginners. Very nice to hear such positive feedback from one such as he.
After getting back from bridge and taking a 50 minute walk around the neighbourhood with SWMBO, I checked the news and learned that Canada Post is going on strike once more. Whee!!! Always something fun going on! *sigh*

A nice and easy 9am shave this morning but that's not the exciting part of the day. I noticed yesterday that the shower was not draining like it should, so I brought out my small drain snake, whose head is small enough that I do not need to remove the drain's cover, and within 30 seconds had a foot long hair snake about an inch thick liberated from being trapped in the pipe. No pics (you are welcome!) but today is off to a great start!
A nice and easy 9am shave this morning but that's not the exciting part of the day. No it's not. That hair clearly did not come from the top of your head, so the other visuals were very disturbing.

Today feels strange but since I am doing laundry it must be Sunday! Tomorrow will therefore be Saturday on this topsy-turvy weekend and we will head out then with with our walking buddies for a Saturday + Monday two-day mini-adventure a few hours north of Toronto to take in the fall colours on the trees and also enjoy then 'burbs.
Laundry is almost done with the last load now being processed. Oh, and the shave was good!

A simple 8am shave this morning to see the end of the week and the end of this blade and now, after a few coffees, it's close to time to hit the road. My next shave will either be late afternoon or early evening tomorrow, as no shave gear will be coming with me.

Arrived home late last night from our 2-day road trip getaway (Parry Sound for those in Ontario) and the fresh blade destroyed about 40hrs of whiskers with no problem at even, even using my ASD2! That mean my noonish shave today was also super easy and smooth.
Three showers and changes of clothes so far today, as I was shopping about 15' from the top of our avocado tree for tomorrow's pickup. Taking down the branches and pruning wasn't that hard, but chopping everything for garbage (yard waste) cans and paper bags took a poopload of time. I even found time to meet up for coffee and a chat with a fellow wetshaver before kiddie chess club today.
All in all, a productive but utterly exhausting day.
