Jul.11 37C/SuperMax BD(4) ............ Graydog silvertip .......... Proraso Green cream ............ Clubman milk

A meh-ishly good shave with the 37C just before noon today as the weather is pretty sticky and my keyboard will melt if I type in what the humidex is.

Yesterday was hot and sticky as well, but saw me buy and install all new guts for the BBQ (burner, heat shield, and grill) as the old ones were totally rusted out. Ended up with a tiny rust splinter in the fleshy part of my hand (yes, my tetanus shot is up to date) and I'm happy I still have my loupe from my straight shaving days to help me find it and get it out.

It's going to be another scorcher today, which makes me happy that my cream is Proraso green ... as if I needed another reason to like this classic! A simple enough 11am shave has me all prepared to stay indoors to read a book and listen to podcasts.

A light rain this morning!! Woohoo!! MUCH needed relief for the yard and garden and (temporarily) from the heat.

Still, 'twas Proraso green for the shave and now I am ready for a light laundry day, as I did laundry on Wednesday after our road trip.

Happy Sunday!

While the heat and humidity is not supposed to be so oppressive , CBC is reporting that the Toronto area has the second worse air quality on the planet today. Whee!

Another simple non-descript shave to kick off the (non)work week.

A nice enough 8:30am shave today before doing some weeding in the heat of the morning before the heat of the afternoon arrives.

In addition to the normal complexities of life, I now have something else to mull over. The Game Changer .68 OC is back in stock at IB. What to do, what to do.

Another stick-icky day here, but we're having lunch by the lake with some friends at a park in Oshawa, so it shouldn't be that bad. Hopefully, there will be some shade to find under a tree.

Up early to put out garbage, which was definitely due, as we had the bag in our garage for a month. We were away in Nova Scotia during the last bi-weekly pickup, so I was happy to have this one move out. Yup, just one garbage bag for a month but we recycle a lot and eat a lot of fresh veggies and such, so there' actually not overly much to classify as "garbage."

Another nice shave, even if my lower back is wonky once again and made getting dressed this morning quite the adventure. *sigh*

A little bit of neck damage resulted in two blips that had my wife asking if I had a new skin tag. *sigh* "'Tis just a shaving thingie," I replied and washed it off and broke out the alum stick to make me only pseudo-ugly before bridge.

1st chiro session earlier today to start work on addressing my 6-month long sciatica, as it does not appear to be self-healing. "Wheee!" for the rehab starting; "Booo!" for needing it in the first place.

We were supposed to get doused with rain yesterday, but it ended up just being a few light showers which I fear didn't do much for the lawn and veggie garden. At least the temperatures have cooled off a good bit, especially the humidity. Alas, the relief is supposed to be short-lived and we're back in the heat in another few days. *sigh*

At least I had a good shave this morning!

Sounds like here, pretty dreadful start, cold and wet, but now it's been sunny and warm, with a heat wave coming on next week.
That's going to be fun when we can't open our windows and the whole building is wrapped in plastic.

A 10am sweaty mow of the lawn dirt as well as a nice chat with the neighbour across the street was followed up by a much needed and very welcome shower and shave. The Proraso is almost done and will be followed by an opened tube Proraso white. This should happen within a week or two.

Happy Saturday!
