Trials of a woodpusher: Adventures in chess, backyard gardening, and maybe whisker chopping

Jun.19 ASD2/SuperMax BD(3) ......... Omega B&B boar .......... Proraso Green cream ............ Clubman milk

Slept much better than the previous night as I was able to breathe through my nose for the most part. I'll take that small victory! Didn't go to kiddie chess club at the library on Tuesday night and I'm skipping bridge this afternoon. Thursday evening chess club is done for the summer and won't kick in again until September.

Shavewise, a few blips here and there but not worth mentioning. Oh, wait a sec.

A good night's sleep.... Finally! The chest is still a little heavy and the sinusesesesesses a little sexy, but I'm doing much better than yesterday.

A simply shave this morning that was way better than meh.

Happy Friday!

The heat and humidity has arrived overnight and it's going to be a sticky and icky day. Had a nice shave at 10am after three(3) cups of coffee, so the morning has started off right. That's at least one good thing so far. I might even try moving the lawn if my brain cells deteriorate enough.

Jun.23 ASD2/SuperMax BD(7) ......... Graydog silvertip .......... Proraso Green cream ............ Clubman milk

Another scorcher of a day is underway here, with temperatures with the humidex forecast to be the hottest June day on record for Toronto. Blah. However, this makes using the wonderful Proraso green cream even more enjoyable than it normally is.

I switched over to my Graydog silvertip today and the little knot (a rehomed Omega Might Midget 599 knot) hit a home run.

Have a great Monday!

This should hopefully be the last day of the super heat, which will be a nice change for all. Meanwhile in the shaving world, I switched to my 37C slant with a fresh blade this morning and had a wonderfully easy-peasy shave.

Happy Two-sday!

Back in town as of last night. No shave yet today (one is coming), but here is my log from the road trip for my niece's wedding in Nova Scotia.

Last night's shave setup was the same as my noon shave today. Needless to say (but I'll say it anyway!), with only 12 hours of growth, the shave today was easy-peasy lemon-squeezy.

For the first time in a month and a half due to vacations (I know, it's a hard life) , it's off to bridge this afternoon! Woohoo!!
