My grandfather was a Safeway butcher for years after he got out of the Navy.

mine did the same thing, he was originally from ohio, moved to california after the war and went into butchery and joined the masons

I put myself through college as an apprentice meat-cutter. I wasn’t allowed to be called a butcher.
Anyways, new watch today. Only ‘legit’ watches from now on. I’ve decided I have a ludicrous number of watches.

For my part it was mostly carrying big hunks of cow around, and trimming out leftovers for hamburger. Oh, and cleaning… lots of cleaning.

Never had a Fliger-style watch. This is an Easily Readable watch. The leather band will have to go. Not my Style
I Prefer stainless steel Bracelets.
