Wives & wet shaving

Welcome to the Cadre! As I sit here in the mountains above Deer Creek you should be familiar. Just got my two kids to sleep after making smores. My wife lays down next to me and says, "I can't wait until we both are showered and shaved tomorrow.". My wife joins in on this hobby with me! She loves whipping up a lather, can grade residual slickness better than me, and she steals plenty of my soaps! She loves the fruity ones!

I've been thinking about bring some scents in for the ladies. Glad to hear there are some out there that shave the traditional way.

Enjoy your getaway with your family.

Welcome to the Cadre, Lisa! My wife won't get near the stuff, but hasn't yet given a hard no on me shaving her legs for her. We'll see...

Dang it Chris, you gave me away. They were suposed to figure it out on their own...lol.

More on point...While my wife hasn't stolen my soaps or brush or razor...

Richelle gets her hair cut from a barber...yeah...I know what you all are thinking...but the barber is female (and yes actually has a barbering license) and according to my wife, cuts, colors, and styles her hair better than other stylists she has gone to. Anyway, her barber does straight razor shaves also. Ryan (her barber) gets a good deal of women who come in and have her shave their legs. Especially pregnant women. Just thought I would add this tidbit. It seems their are a contingency of ladies out their that don't mind someone else shaving their legs...with a straight razor no less, but just don't want their husbands to shave them!

Pregnant ladies wanting their legs shaved makes TOTAL sense, I’ve been there more than once. Once they reach “that” stage, they don’t care how the legs are shaved they just want it done. I am a little queasy about the idea of a barber using a little shavette to do the job, but if they have the skill they have it.

...and Lisa. How could I possibly keep you a secret. If I didn’t say something Chad would have. I don’t think it will be a problem being “one of the guys”.

Welcome again, nice to have you here.

Welcome to TSC Lisa!

Love your soap!

My wife says she had to learn to shave using a DE because that is all their was, and no way in heck is she going back to that.

Who says she uses a shavette? Nope, I've seen her shave a guy and it appears that she strops and shaves with a straight.

There are about four places in my area that offer straight shaves now. Maybe more.

Yes coconut oud as well ?

Lisa, glad to have you.

My wife once agreed for me to make some lather for her to use with her cart. She said it really wasn't that much different than using her body wash! **gasp!**
We have three girls. One of them uses a DE, but opted for shaving gel. One uses a cart, but for the last year made her own lather and the other one hasn't shaved enough to settle on anything.
