What?! There’s seasons for soaps?
Come on! You know there is ;)
Yep. I almost never use a sandalwood in summer or a citrus in winter. I hate the smell of Guerlain Vetiver in warm weather but really enjoy it when it's cold outside.
Vetiver I like but I do gravitate to using it in Fall...
Nothing like a shave with MITA and then shoveling the drive! 🤪

Also, I definitely BBQ in the winter... 😊
I am going to try that this winter...MITA is a fav but I’ll use the Duke Cannon Ice Cold Balm instead of the AS...you have a nice Q there!

I don't really consider any of my scents summer or winter scents. I have them because I like them & I use them, regardless of the season. Now what I don't use often is heavily mentholated products in the winter. If I want a blast of cold in the winter, I open the door!

Yesterday was a high of 96 degrees with 90% humidity and a heat index of 109. I just looked it today and it looks as if a cold front might move through the area...it will be a high of 91 and currently we have 100% humidity...and no...it isn't raining.

So...yeah...summer soaps and aftershaves are still in the rotation. When it does finally get cooler here...it rarely stays cold for very long. Even winters are peppered with their days in the upper 80s and sometimes 90s. So I just use what I want...when I want...and damned be all who can't stand my sandalwood and oud in 100 degree heat! 🤪

Not sure where you are, but this sounds about the same as here 👍 ... and since I prefer the more "summer" scents, I pretty much use them year round.

But you have not lived until you finish off a shave with Osage Rub, and then open the door and expose your face to old man winter!
Been there, done that, and will do it again! While I do rotate to winter scents like bay rum, etc, I finish every shave with Osage Rub prior to the aftershave of the day.

I do enjoy "seasonal" scents (floral/citrus for spring/summer, musk/sandalwood fall winter), but I'm not going to limit myself completely. If the mood of the day is lime soap and 4711 splash in Dec or Dragons Blood soap and Old Spice in July, so be it. I need my smellscapes darn it.

Me too...or at least I hang on to them as long as possible. Long pants and long sleeved shirts are too restrictive.
I know what you mean. Fortunately most of the time we have milder winters. A lot of times its still shorts and flip flop weather here even into January... We had a cooler day the other day ( it got down to 66 degrees ) and I had to wear long pants!!!!!! I wasn't ready for that.... I pick whatever soap I feel like that day , of course I don't have a lot of choices but I like the variety...

I rotate scents seasonally but if I feel like some “Summer” in January I will grab some nice citrus scent or other etc as I have mentioned. However, they roar are out to get the more Fall/Winter scents in.
