What Fragrance Did You Use Today?

Perris Monte Carlo Cedrio Di Diamonte
We’re having a record breaking heat wave here, and Finnish housing is not made for heat. Add to that our building being in wraps for this endless renovation, and refreshing is the name of the game. This is a wonderful light cheerful limoncello, a real delight for lemon lovers like myself.

Amouage Beach Hut Man
Mint, heavy earthy mint. But it works, especially going light on the trigger. I think it took this heatwave to make this one truly make sense to me, as it's the most I've enjoyed wearing it, and at least today, it's my favorite of the numerous mints I have. Going light on the sprays and riding my bike to a sweat drenched ballet class, this just nicely sat there without becoming an overwhelming blob of darknes. Which a mint this heavy can easily do. I'm generally not an oversprayer as it is. I've audibly gasped watching some YouTubers drench themselves in 10+ sprays of a power house. That's something I just don't get, but to each their own.

Thankfully Beach Hut still remains from the original trio of the series, Bracken and Sunshine being discontinued. Liking this so much, and really appreciating the unique twist on the genre and high quality of the fragrance, it's made me want to find Bracken Man, since that's at the classic fougere is a genre that I think would benefit from this approach, in the same way as the 'fresh' fougere did with this. 'Fresh' in quotes, because this really doesn't read a fresh to me, but it does read a the outdoors on a very hot day.

Still hoping to find some eventually. I had thought it was also discontinued.
