What Fragrance Did You Use Today?

A couple today:
Maria Candita Gentile - Gershwin
Very bright and sheer lemon and frankincense. I’m a big fan of Maria, unique scents without being pretentious. Gershwin feels incredibly natural and easy, which isn’t something that always goes with frankincense.

Le Galion - Whip
Lemon is one of my favorite notes, and Whip is another great one. The opening, all few minutes of it, is a beautiful realistic lemon, much ‘thicker’ than Maria’s. It quickly morphs into a lemon chiffon with a healthy does of oak moss. Very old school barbershop vibes. A real favorite of mine.

Received this about 2 weeks ago & somehow it slipped my mind to give it a full wearing. Absolutely stunning citrus (glorious Grapefruit, Lime & Mint) with a smooth Tobacco, Ambergris with a light booze accord that is exceptionally well blended. All that leads into this perfected woods, Patchouli, Musk with subtle tinges of sweetness from Vanilla, Cinnamon & Saffron. Nothing heavy nor light just an extraordinary seamless execution of notes that works to perfection. Is it $400 worthy? No as it is not something that is super unique or you haven't smelled on one occasion or another. However, the blending & execution is meticulously done and it can be felt with certainty. If you can come across a bottle of Roja Burlington 1819 at a nice discount say, $200 US and under, I'd highly suggest one to pick one up. This is a near perfect signature scent that can be worn all year round without giving it a second thought. Bright & fresh, earthy, woody and just a tinge of sweetness creates a combination of classy & modern man simultaneously.

Totally worth it in my book.
