I'm going back through some old samples, I've worn this twice before, and was a basically meh about it at the time. I was expecting a more refined CdG Wonderwood I guess, and this isn't that at all.
It has a very nice aromatic citrus opening that fades, into a cedar and iris blend. The accord almost comes off as a spice type scent but when you smell it closely you get a very true cedar with a powdery note that the iris delivers. I'm liking this much more this wearing. I really do think that, like many hobbies, it takes time to develop the nose a bit.
I see this being compared to Santal 33, but do think lovers of spice might also like this one. Of my off beat collection, this may be one of the most safe to wear for any occasion.
