Using this always reminds me of a trip to Portofino I took at age 20 while studying in Europe. After checking in late to a small hotel, we found the room to have a wet-floored toilet that hung out from the side of the building like a limpet, with a big cockroach that scuttled away. So we went back downstairs, retrieved our passports from the unattended front desk, and scuttled away like the roach to find a different hotel.
