Opened up the bottle of Cazadores Reposado tequila we picked up for Christmas. The wife had a shot before supper and said that the "other one" (i.e. Cazadores Anejo) was much smoother. After a few sips, I have to agree.

You know. At one point in my life a good cocktail would have been made in haste and downed the moment I had it my hands. In my old age I have learned that it is never really about the ingredients but the process itself to make a cocktail.

Tonight is just a regular old Manhattan. But cardamom bitters and twisting the orange peel at the end really make this drink.
