2 CBL shave soaps and I just got confirmation my order will be shipped today.
Also I’m waiting on the Janus Adjustable razor. I was involved in testing the prototype and did several Shave Offs with it including a comparison to the Gillette Toggle which was the inspiration for the owner/founder of the Janus Eric for this project. Hopefully based on my phone conversation with him a week ago this should be ready near Valentines Day in February. I know there have been about 20 changes to the production version compared to the prototype I used and if it any better than the prototype then it’s going to be amazing as the prototype was one of the best shaving razors I’ve ever put to my face. So I’m beginning to get excited anticipating the release.

Yep it ain't cheap that's for sure at $500, but I sold a few razors that I haven't been using to justify the cost! Plus after shaving with the prototype I could probably sell 50% of the razors in my den based on the Janus's shaving capabilities without any remorse it was that good. It's funny there are more and more razors that are now in this price range and higher and most of them are 3 piece razors. The Janus has 36 different components that make up the complete razor and I'm pretty sure that it was a not only a manufacturing nightmare but also from a design standpoint a huge challenge.

A Janus or Toggle would be awesome! But they are both out of my price range.

The Janus price is what it is like any new razor but I have to say it seems like the prices are currently down on the vintage Gillette Toggles and I've known a few guys that got theirs for under $200 which a few years ago was almost unheard of. Just sayin! (y)

Enoch should be at the house when I get home tonight and Envoy next week. Cutting them close but timing is working out so far. The Taiga from Russia and The Tatara from Portugal will follow. Exciting times in the razor world.
While you may be lacking variety in soap, that's certainly not the case for razors! Tons of cool stuff to test coming your way!

What I don't get, is why put all that effort into a razor and then only make 51? If it's that good, the price, though high, doesn't limit the customer base to anywhere near 51 people in the world.
