What are you anxiously waiting to be delivered ???

I don’t think I’d actually use the brush, but it looks pretty darn cool!
I have 3 of his Sculpted brushes and they are great. I do see this one as being slightly an ergonomic challenge, but I think it will be just fine.

Wow, those look great! Need shades for all that shine  I've been thinking about giving my Fatboy a spa treatment... Will be interested to hear your thoughts once the razors are in hand.
Chris was easy to work with and 1 of the more reasonably priced. Turn around is lightning quick !!less then 2 weeks including shipping. Someone else here used him before and was happy is why I used him.

Pretty mundane after Spider and Dave's great posts, but a 1964 Ball End Tech is on the way.
After using the bent tech from Razor Emporium for a week in Greece, I realized, I really like Techs, so here's hoping this one isn't bent.
No purchases are EVER mundane. Hope it's a winner for you !

A bent razor from Razor Emporium? Interesting. I once bought an Old Type head that had been replated. This was probably the third Old Type I had bought at the time so I was very familiar with how they shave. It cut me up pretty good the first shave. I figured it was my poor technique so I paid close attention the next time. Yet the same result. Blood all over my face. Waited for the face to heal and gave it another go. This time I made sure I had nowhere to go so no rush and lots of time to focus. Same result. That caused me to take a closer look at the head. I noticed two little nubs, sort of like the nubs on the top cap of some NEWs. But the other two corners didn't have nubs. I realized that the nubs probably came from a fall or two which bent the corners. As a result, the top cap doesn't sit properly and the blade is not held evenly on the baseplate. I then did what I should have done before making the purchase. I did some research into Razor Emporium. I found many long threads that talk about issues they had with Razor Emporium. My own feeling about my razor head was that there really is no excuse for them to be selling a vintage head that they went to the trouble to replate but did not bother to inspect the head before doing so. So, I'm not surprised to hear that you bought a bent Tech head from the same outfit. I'll say that they made it right and refunded me the purchase price plus return shipping so I can't complain there. I don't think they were happy about it but they did the right thing. But given my only experience with them, the many people who also had issues and your very recent post, I will stay away.

I think I may have created one of those threads about a NEW you read! Thankfully they replaced that cap.
This razor wasn't a re-plate, just sold as a used vintage (at RE prices of course). Like the NEW it shaved rough and upon closer inspection I could see it the aluminum base was bent, but was a fairly simple fix.

RE does stand by their products, and they will (asm you mentioned a bit grumpily) make good. In this case, I just don't want deal with it, but, likely my last purchase there as well.....

Helena's birthday is coming up, just ordered 'her' a a bottle of Comme des Garcons 2, and somehow a bottle of Wonderoud just slipped in there.

I'll say with frags it really pays to shop around, the was about 40% cheaper online, than the local shop. I want to support local (and have bought there as well) but come on 40% is a big difference.
