Karve going out the window? I guess the one positive thing about not having had your newer razors for long because of the pass around is that you aren’t attached yet. Lol.

It's a good smooth shaver but now getting a nice se and wanting the Vector would give me 2 Modern se's and the Timeless and Rockwell for 2 modern de's. That's enough, so the Karve although nice can fund the Vector. Don't try to figure out how I think, it's too scary ?
 
I might be interested in picking up your Karve. With all the discussion around here about them I have been starting to eye one as my next DE purchase.
 
What a dummy I am. I put the cart before the horse on my most recent purchase.

I've been on the lookout for a signature scent and thought Ghost Town Barber would be a good one. I decided to buy the fragrance yesterday with the Black Friday sale. After I received shipping confirmation, I realized I hadn't had my wife smell the soap sample I had.

So today I had her smell the soap and asked if she likes it. "Eh, it's ok. Kinda flowery." So I'm still looking for a signature scent. Oh, well. I'm still going to wear GTB to work, though. I leave before she gets up.
 
The Karve is an excellent razor. If bronze was a preferred metal type for me if be all over it. Go for it Doug! If the plates aren't the right aggressiveness I've noticed they are super easy to trade for what you want.

There is a reason I have stayed away from this thread...and now I wish I hadn't clicked on it. I have a feeling I might be in trouble with the wife again...

Thanks KJ! I'm not a huge fan of Peppermint, as normally when its used, it's one of two or three primary notes and it ends up taking over. If it's done right, however, (siliski's Santa's Pipe is done well, IMO), it's a great complimentary fragrance. With that being said, I'm still looking forward to it!
