The Dubl Duck Wonderedge came in yesterday. All it needed was a little Flitz and it is basically NOS! It has a few funny lines on the scales, possibly from being wrapped with a rubber band for many years, but otherwise, its in great shape.
I recently sold my other Dubl Duck to a friend, this one is a fitting replacement

On a serious note, I realize I don’t have a talc brush. My Simpson Berkeley just came out of travel duty since I won’t be traveling this year and now I think it’s getting traded to the talc “team”

I really wanted to sniff test Blu, but it seems he is out of stock at the moment. Also, I’m afraid I won’t be able to pick just one. The Nera sounds interesting too. Verde interests me except for the rose note. Rossa sounds pretty awesome. I’m doomed...I bet Rossa is one

The boulder!!!!!!
I was lent this stone to hone with a few years ago by my mentor but wasn't in a position to be able to keep it. He was still willing to part with it despite Jnats with fitted bases being hard to come by these days.
It is an Asagi (green) and I believe from the Narutaki region. Very hard stone and an excellent finisher. The razor in the photos was one I had here at the time and only for size reference, but it shows why I call it the boulder.

I so want one of those!! I got the opportunity to try one when I was honing it for a gentleman and loved it. I have a Fili I'm thinking of offering in the BST as a trade if someone happens to have one. Probably a long shot, but who knows.
