What’s new to you?

"Goldfinger, do you expect me to tell you what time it is?"
"no Mr. Sprecher....I expect you to die"
Boo.
Bond film clearly had a laser moving cranially in the sagittal plane. This is a pendulum with a blade that is moving medial-lateral in the axial plane.
Therefore it is most likely from “The Pit and the Pendulum” by EA Poe adapted into a film. 🤓

Crack a book! 😜

I was clearly going for a comedic interpretation.

Not only did I know that Eric was joking....but I also own copies of every Bond film....all of the Fleming Bond books (and a few on the non Fleming ones as well) and all of the Poe books.

I've already reached the top level.

See....eric knows what's up.

I've only owned 2 watches since I was 15....a Mickey Mouse Timex and a Citizen Eco-drive. But I've bought every Bond film on dvd (plus the books I mentioned).....I'm not sure why owning a watch that costs half as much as my car would make me more of a Bond fan.

And they picked you to judge the watches on this thread!?!?

That’s like finding out the the judges on a baking contest have only ever managed to make buttered toast in their home kitchens.

Incidentally, I agree with you that ability to buy merchandise should in no way count towards your status as a fan.
