I haven't owned a Timex in years and years. It has also been forever since I have seen a metal expansion band on a watch.

I used to have that Exact Same Watch.
Wore it for years Built like a tank.
Great Watch.

I am not sure it will "take a licking" like the Timex watches of old, but it does seem like a solidly built timepiece.
