Decided to Put ol Bessie on Today.
My BWC SWISS Beat up watch.
I purchased it in Germany in 1983.
She has Definitely took a licking and keeps on Ticking.

I may have told this story before, but here goes.

Years ago me and my dad were tilling under the garden area (which was huge back then, a couple acres or more) in the Fall. Somewhere along the line his watch (a Timex) fell off his wrist. We looked and looked, but wrote it off.

The next Spring as we were discing that watch got kicked up to the surface. I found it and hollered at my dad and wouldn't ya know: he wiped it off on his overalls and wound it up and it worked!

Looked rougher than a cob but it ran! I tried to get him to write a letter to Cameron Swazy (or whatever their pitchman's name was back then) but he never did.
