Disasters such as the one in Maui are especially devastating when they hit so close to home. The town of Lahaina and the island of Maui hold a special place in our hearts at Reyn Spooner. One of our oldest and most beloved prints, Lahaina Sailor, has been around since 1968 and is inspired by the bandanas worn by sailors visiting Lahaina Habor in the era of whaling. Lahaina Sailor carries the namesake of Lahaina, and the design has become our unofficial signature over the years.
As a Hawaiian company, we feel it’s important to support our community when they need it most. Reyn Spooner is donating proceeds from in-store and online sales of our Lahaina Sailor collection to support the relief efforts in Maui until August 31, 2023.
