Top rated DE razors

The Rockwell 6S is just plain heavy. That said, the weight is a good part of the reason this razor shaves so well.
I actually preferred the shave in the lighter, smoother 6c. But it was 100% Zamak and hence not very reliable. [emoji3525]

The weight difference between them is barely even noticeable for me. 100g vs. 118g

And Zamak gets a bad rap, and I’m not sure why. Granted, it’s not as good as stainless, but it’s much more affordable, and if you take care of your tools they will last a very long time. I have Zamak razors that I’ve been using for 10 years with no problems.

I hear ya, but every bit counts. Even lighter than the 6c would be good... Maybe a Rockwell 6T(itanium). Too bad its not likely coming.

Considering a GC now, because, this is clearly how I downsize my collection. Lol.

Once you find “the one” (or 2 or 3 or 5.....) you can get rid of the rest. I’ve got a lot of test razors to purge right now.

Lol, I hear ya. I still have a drawer of 4 or 5 I am honestly not going to use.

Then you have nothing to worry about .... I could shave with a different razor, every day, and not repeat for at least a year!

Yowch! I get itchy when I have a "surplus" of "unwanted" supplies. If I were anywhere near as many as you have, I'd be going bonkers. Lol.

My top three:

1. Charcoal Goods Level 3 (gen 1) open comb in antique brass
2. Wolfman WR2 1.35mm open comb
3. PAA DOC Evolution in stainless

I like blade-forward, efficient razors.

Game changer .84 for me.

It is kinda changing my shaving experience with my other razors I have in my rotation.

Best purchase I've made shaving wise

I keep hearing stuff like this about the game changer. And at the price...it looks like it is a must have razor for me in the future!

No doubt. At the price = no brainer. I always look forward to mine when it comes up in the rotation.

Great to see you here Scott! We are scheduled to be in Seattle again in September of this year. It was great to see you in the shadow of the Space Needle this last season and I hope we can touch bases again this year.
