Welp, this past Sunday marked my 52nd trip around the Sun, and the end of the most stressful year so far. As previously noted, there has been a lot of loss, and now I have officially blocked my sister on my phone. But my wife is still my biggest cheerleader and I could not be happier. And in less than a month I am TDY to Pearl Harbor for a week, for my third trip to the Aloha State. I love that place, and am very much looking forward to the trip. My daughter Ashley's band competed at the American Pipe Band Championships and placed 4th in their Grade this past weekend, as well, and my Boston Bruins are back in the Stanley Cup Playoffs (series tied 1-1 with Buffalo as of this morning). Lets see what the rest of April and the beginning of May bring!
