Happy Friday Everyone. Wow! This week has been crazy busy for me. I hope to get a little downtime this weekend and catch up on reading all the shave journals I have missed today. Another great 3 pass shave to start the day. Everything just worked without any real thought. This blade is toast which is just as well. I am tired of using the Level 1 baseplate. I will most likely move on to the Level 2 baseplate for the next week but I have not completely decided. I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday.

Happy Saturday. I have had a relaxing morning. After going for a hair cut, I came back and had a relaxing shave. I decided to stay with the Sabre and use the level 2 plate. I can certainly has more blade feel. The level 2 also has a much wider sweet spot. This made shaving my neck much easier and the shave felt more efficient. Overall a wonderful smooth BBS shave. I now have the grill fired up with some chili seasoned chicken on. I am looking forward to some tacos later this afternoon. I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday.

Happy Sunday Everyone. I got tired of bowl lathering and decided to move the remaining Dead Sea soap into a small bowl. I just prefer face lathering so this makes it much easier than trying to load from the bottom of the glass jar. I am still coming to terms with the Level 2 plate. While the sweet spot is wider, I don't find the setup as smooth. I am sure it is my error and I will get it sorted over the next few days. I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday.

Happy Monday Everyone. I really should have worked yesterday but I just needed the downtime. I will pay the price this week but the break was worth it. Another automatic near perfect shave to start the day. I am starting to get the hang of this level 2 plate. I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday.

Happy Tuesday everyone. Up and moving pretty early this morning. I am continuing to knock out The Dead Sea. As much as I liked the soap, I am ready for it do be done and dusted. The maiden voyage for the CG Level 2 razor. It has more blade feel than the CG Everyday razor along with a wider sweet spot. These two differences did seem to cut down the amount of touch ups required. Overall an excellent shave to start the day. I am off to a client site this morning and back to my home office for the afternoon. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.
 
Cool pattern on that top cap! What is such a feature categorized as…is that considered a type of scalloping?
