What do ya'll think of them. I'm considering picking one up to have a 3 piece but still need to cruise the bay and see what kind of vintage stuff I might like.

The handles are nice and made out of stainless which is a big plus; comparable in aesthetics and value to what you can get from just about any vendor these days. The heads appear generic though. I’m guessing along the lines of a EJ89/Merkur 34c knock off. So mild, good razor for a starter or value shave.

I own one and the handle is worth the price for sure. The head is a Merkur 34c knock off. Not bad at all.

I have the DE3P6 with the standard head. I really like it. It's probably a fairly mild razor, but it's definitely more aggressive than my Razorock Tech II which is also considered to be pretty mild.

Awe come on! Those razors are a steal of a deal. I would go open comb myself but that’s just because a think open combs are more than exciting. As to whether or not you should cruise eBay for a vintage...YES! I love the vintage 3 piece razors and they can usually be grabbed for an excellent price too. So get both. Nothing like being able to swap heads on a stainless handle.

I honestly never knew Stirling had razors. Learn something every day.

Yeah i was just browsing the site and found them so i thought i would ask since the price was good but i just hadn't heard anyone talk about them.

Again, I am late to the party. I been busy on two other sites doing my Frankenrazor February thing. SO being an expert in cheap clone razor heads to mix and match, the Aggressive head is the same as the Maggard v3a/RR Mentor. The standard razor head is the same as the Maggard v3/RR Protege which is a clone of the Merkur head. The OC is the same head as the Maggard v2/RR Old Type head, which is a clone of the Gillette OT. All are excellent shavers and you can't go wrong with any of them. I personally like the Aggressive head since it was not a clone of anyone previous and makes an excellent Frankenrazor base.

This here looks really interesting. A new 316/16L Stainless Steel razor from Stirling that looks like will be offered in two base plate configurations, mild/aggressive. It has been posted on a few social sites and forums and it has created a bit of a buzz so far. Good for Stirling. They’re a good company that offer exceptional value to the wet shaver. I just might take a stab at this when it becomes available. Very interesting........

I’m liking the heads, that handle doesn’t seem to match though.

That looks pretty nice. I might have to consider one once they are avaliable

Interesting design. I like the way the handle is leaning aesthetically with it’s 5 sided design on top, not sure how to feel about the bottom half yet lol.

As for the head, looks quite thick and there is a lot of unsupported blade extending out from the clamp point to the exposure point. Love that it has tight tolerances though!

I think Razorock has taught us the lesson that good, smooth shaves from moderately aesthetically pleasing, quality, stainless razors can be had at very good prices. It will be interesting to see how these stack up when reviews start rolling in!
