I bought A&E’s Khalifa and really liked it. It is said it is inspired by Nasomato black afgano, which I don’t have. Then I heard this was a dead ringer for Nasomato black afgano so I got it. It is not at all Khalifa but this is in Khalifa if that makes sense.
Except this one has a real powdery aspect and is bright and mild as well as sweet. I like it very much, also this base seems to be the same as the one in King of Oud.

A very nice soap with a delicious scent and a good lather quality...
Long ignored razor... realized how good it was again today. The heft of the razor itself is the primary factor for me...really wow! Easy, smooth & enjoyable 3passes for a bbs finish. The aftershaves were terrific for a hot humid day...

Good morning Cadre! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Wonderful shave this morning. Went back to Frank's Vanilla Safi shave soap. Love the scent and the lather is very slick and cushioning. Three passes and a touch-up (that Feather is a very mild razor) and I finished with some ETHOS "Clean" Skin Food Splash with a couple of drops of the Vanilla Safi fragrance blend added, along with a spray of the Dragonsbeard EdP.

RAZOR: Weck Sextoblade (Mug), Blackland Vector (Dome)
BLADE: Feather Super AC (Dome)
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Rooney Ebony Finest Badger
SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Thayers WH. Finished with Canoe Original AS Splash.
