Good morning Cadre! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Fantastic shave this morning. It has literally been years since I last used "The Fat" and after seeing a post featuring it recently, I wanted to reacquaint myself with it. First thing though, I had to find it! Took some time but I eventually located it. The soap was very desiccated and shrunken with cracks along its circumference. I applied some water and it reconstituted a bit. Still, I had little hope and was expecting a less than desirable lather. To my surprise it worked very well! Three passes worth of lather and I finished with a splash of Floid Vigoroso and a spray of ETHOS "Succés" EdP. Great finish to the work week.

Love the graphics on that soap and splash...what a great movie! I'm intrigued by the Eau Intense Vetiver. How does it compare to the TdH original?

The Intense Vetiver seems much less citrus forward than the original. The Vetiver is not the dark type, rather it is fresh and definitely stays around.

The soap scent is nice but abit too mild. The lather qualities are really good, creamy, and slick...great!
1st use of this clone Kamisori and paired with the blade...wow! Very easy to use...silky smooth, very comfortable, and very efficient. Almost auto-pilot mode. The atg pass on the neck and jawline was incredibly easy and efficient! 3passes for a bbs finish...awesome indeed! The matching AS splash has good post-shave but the scent is abit mild. This will be a great travel SR razor...!!!

A close-up of the razor looks like a wood handle. I think it's straighter than a straight razor that bends.
