Good morning Cadre! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
Wow! Can't believe we're in December. The year has definitely flown by. Birthday coming up as well... Hard to believe I'll be 45!!
I already have my B-day shave planned out!! 
Stellar shave this morning! Haven't used the Noble Otter "Monarch" in quite a while. Fantastic scent! The neroli really stands out to my nose and the interplay of all the notes together, take on a "dark fruit" note for me. Plum and date, maybe some pomegranate in there as well. The lather is incredibly slick and provides an excellent shaving base. Three passes for a DFS+ result from the Ascension DOC and I finished with the matching splash (+ skin food)and a spray of YSL "La Nuit De L'Homme" EdT. Great kick off to the final month of 2021!

RAZOR: Edgar Allan Poe Stubtail 8/8 (Mug), Barbasol Floating Head (Dome)
BLADE: Feather DE (Dome)
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Alpha Shaving T-400 Tribute fitted with 26mm Boar Knot Ferrule
SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Cremo Cooling Post Shave Balm.

Ah, another month gone by. And now it's (past) time to get the packages into the mail.
The shaving cream made fabulous lather, nearly as good on my skin as the equivalent tallow-based soap and with more scent, and the razor continues to amaze. The aftershave has a very slight tackiness during drydown, not at all unpleasant, and it has the best gentle burn of any of my aftershaves.

A very nice soap! Love the scent especially with the matching AS plus the lather was creamy and slick too!
This shave with the razor paired with this blade was noticeably a tad less smooth and less sharp...as compared to 1st use. Still good enough in 3passes for a bbs/dfs finish. Aftershaves were just awesome.
