With the .94 gap, the WR1 is the closest thing to shaving with a straight yet IMHO.

At this gap, it's a more aggressive shave than a WR2 or the LASSC BBS-1.

Fantastic shave this morning. Had a different one all planned out but changed at the last moment for a Bay Rum fix. Phoenix Shaving's Atomic Age Bay Rum is one of the best out there. Thick, slick, fragrant lather for three passes and I finished with the matching splash and EdP.

And I put together a plastic model of it, painted and with rigging and sails and all, at a work bench in our garage, when I was around 10 years old. What an ordeal.

Went old school for today's shave. Excellent lather from the Cooper & French soap. Two passes (+ touch up) for a DFS+ result and I finished with a splash of vintage Shulton "Old Spice" after shave and a spray of P&G "Old Spice".
