We lost our power Monday night just before 11pm. We were without power until Wednesday evening at about 6:20pm. Of course not only did a storm come though and cause major issues throughout our region, it brought cold temperatures back too. This unplanned off-grid living stinks. I couldn't wait to get in the shower this morning.

I had 3 days of growth... and it was getting very itchy on my neck. The Rockwell 6s on plate R4 with a Kai(5) blade did well at stubble removal. I'd rate today's shave as a DFS+.

I will have to purchase a puck. I currently have 1 MWF in use and 1 in the wings. I believe they are both the vegan formula. I bought them from Pasteurpharmacy.com when it was announced that Mitchell's was going out of business. I absolutely love the scent of MWF and I think it performs very well.

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

A wonderful shave with which to close out the workweek! Returned to Cella and their excellent shave soap & ASB. Traditional Italian almond / marzipan scent with phenomenal lather built with the WWBW synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by the matching aftershave balm & YSL "M7 Fresh" EdT.

BBS bliss!!

Did I enjoy this shave? No, not at all but I’m down to the dregs of this bloody soap so another shave or two and it’ll be kaput. I can’t think of one positive thing about it except for the slickness. As soon as the lather got on my face the Shulton Old Spice scent came out nice but then the menthol started drowning it out. The same thing with the aftershave. I still managed to get a great three pass BBS shave so I can’t complain too much - there’s always tomorrow!
