I hear the Trafalgar brushes are wonderful. I do not own any at this time. I've heard the T3 is a beast.
I used the same T3 daily for 18 months. It was around that time that forum members were commenting on how the top of the brush looked like the eye of a hurricane. I contacted Simpson's customer service. I asked if they ever encountered a brush that looked like mine. I was completely transparent and as far as I was concerned, I simply wanted to let them know. They replied to my email asking if I were open to sending it to them for analysis. In exchange they would send me a brand new T3. I was so impressed with their stellar customer service . I'm a customer for life!
In my opinion the Trafalgar series are fantastic and very reasonably priced.

Best Wishes,
Paul

That is an impressive company response. I'm glad they sent you a new one at no-charge. I hope it hold up much better.

As always, Stirling soaps perform phenomenally. The Gin & Tonic smells great. I love the smell of the juniper berries and lime.

The 6s with a Kai(4) on plate R2 tackled the 2 days of growth like it was effortless. Another great shave.

Fabulous shave Lantsman!

I have the Gin & Tonic on the Rocks and I think it’s a wonderful soap!

Tuesday morning:

Hot shower
Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
Super Speed/7 O’Clock day 9
Palmolive Menthol SC
Gold Bond Moisturizer
Floid Vigoroso AS Splash

One thing I can say is that I was always a big fan of the Palmolive creams from Europe especially the mentholated version. This one is from Italy and I love its fresh, minty scent, it’s such a pleasure to lather, it gives a good, strong menthol sensation along with a very comfortable postshave feeling. The Gold Bond moisturizer gave me lots of extra chilly soothing, and the Floid Vigoroso aftershave is loaded with menthol not to mention how beautiful it smells. Three passes gave me a splendid BBS shave that was so much fun!

Enjoy your day and your shaves - be well and stay safe!

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Another wonderful shave this morning! Returned to Proraso and their incredible Nourishing (Red) shaving cream. A warm , woody sandalwood scent with an undertone of vetiver maybe? Not sure, but there are definitely some other scent notes in there. A great lather as well, built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, Proraso Red aftershave lotion & TAOS "Sandalwood" EdT. No feedback at all from the alum.

BBS bliss!!

Hope you have a great day. :)

Just trying to polish off this tub. It's the one soap I've ordered from Don that I've been disappointed with. The problem: it has no scent. I have a tub of his unscented soap, and they are duplicated. Don't know what happened, but this was a dud. He did reach out to me in an effort to make things right, but I just didn't want to bother. I use it as an unscented soap, so I can pair any frag I want with it. (The aftershave was more of the same, there's a faint whiff of citrus, but it's negligible.) Won't make me stop buying Don's soaps, just won't purchase this particular soap in the future.
