Monday 3/9 Shave
FFFMM - FIXED FOUR FOR MARCH MADNESS 2026

DAY 9 – One Modified WTG/ATG Pass and a good Clean Up
Edge is doing fine – a bit of stropping this morning
Overall a clean, smooth and comfortable DFS+ shave

Menthol Monday’s Awesome Grand Freeze:

Hot shower
Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
Super Speed/new 7 O’Clock
Bundubeard Cool as a Cucumber X3 SS
Gold Bond Moisturizer
Noble Otter Northern Elixir AS Splash

Another terrific soap from South Africa that was made exclusively for me - there’s a version of this brand on the market without any menthol which is also great. My dear brother Jaco knows how much I love menthol so he made a batch of this particular soap and I absolutely LOVE it. It’s glycerine based, it looks exactly like the Yeti Snot soap which is also light green in colour, the scent is very nice - along with the cucumber there’s a strong peppermint note, it lathers fantastically - much better than the Yeti Snot, the menthol sensation is MONSTROUS, and the postshave feeling is wonderful. The Gold Bond gave me lots of additional chilly care, and the Northern Elixir aftershave smells beautiful - it’s a mix of peppermint and eucalyptus not to mention how frigid it is. The new 7 O’Clock blade helped me get a brilliant three pass BBS shave that was so enjoyable!

What a beautiful freeze, Lantzman! Now with the weather warming up, it will soon be time for me to do some menthol shaves.

The Super Adjustable was not very comfortable today. I have not used this razor in many months. Maybe if I had more growth than 20 hours. However, the soap is always amazing. I love this scent.
