FFFMM - FIXED FOUR FOR MARCH MADNESS 2026

DAY 28 – Two Pass and Some Clean Up on the Jawline
A smooth & comfortable DFS+ shave result

Another cheap, basic setup for today - this Boots stick from the UK may or may not be available presently. Personally I wouldn’t care if it wasn’t because it’s not a particularly good soap. It has a fairly decent sort of lemony/soapy scent, the lather is good but it’s not that great skincare wise. The Lubriderm moisturizer helped me a lot, and the Aqua Velva aftershave gave me a nice chilly kick. These Perma Sharps are fantastic - this one gave me a terrific three pass BBS shave - no complaints whatsoever!

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Late post but a great shave to start the day. Returned to ETHOS Grooming Essentials and Frank's excellent Aventus homage, "Succès" shave soap, splash & EdP. Fantastic scent with incredible lather built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching skin food splash & EdP.

BBS bliss!!

Speick After Shave

The Speick Shave Cream face-lathered well with Jayaruh #438 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Ever-Ready Lather Catcherr razor and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Speick After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Godrej Menthol SC
Gold Bond Moisturizer
Floid Vigoroso AS Splash

Today I was in the mood for some chilliness and the Godrej Menthol cream was a good choice. It’s not a lethal face freezer but it still feels colder than cold enough to satisfy me. Its scent changed since it was reformulated - it’s more of a soapy, clean type, just a small dab on both cheeks is enough for great lather, and it’s very gentle on sensitive skin. The Gold Bond moisturizer is plenty chilly, and the Floid Vigoroso aftershave not only is icy cold, it smells so old school barbershoppy and beautiful. Another wonderful three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max!

I knew I could get this edge in better shape
Overall one of my very Best DFS=/BBS shaves so far
