I gave the Rex Page another try with 1 day of growth. I tried adding a washer so I didn't have to tighten it down as much in order to make the gap a little larger. It did not help. This razor is so mild I cannot get a great shave with it. Yes, it does whisker reduction but not DFS or BBS. I think it is time to put it on the chopping block. It is a shame because the razor looks great and feels great in the hand. It is also very maneuverable.

Today's shave was icy. All software had added menthol. I ground in a lot to my lather and was experiencing the freeze. Very good for a hot afternoon.

You gotta love "The Fat". Excellent soap and I've only used and have the non-tallow.

- This cart feels like rubbing Velcro over my face. But gets the job done with one pass. I’m hoping the excellent products and only needing to use it for less than a week will keep my razor burn at bay.

Lubriderm Moisturizer
MSC Vintage Spice AS Splash

Although I can no longer say that the Vintage Spice stuff has the identical scent to the Shulton Old Spice it’s still delightful and the scent is close - very close. The soap is such a great latherer, its tallow formula promotes unbelievable slickness as well as extreme post-shave comfort. The Lubriderm moisturizer made my skin feel so soothed, and the Vintage Spice aftershave went on with no stinging or burning because it’s witch hazel based. Another fabulous three pass BBS shave that was so much fun!

Now this is what an edge should feel like
Two Pass with the Straight was darn near BBS
A quick clean up with the Super Adjustable took it to the Moon
Luxury brush mix is like a Badger on Steroids – thick & dense knot
Teamed up with the Old Sport to produce a stunning lather

Friday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Williams Mug Shave Soap
Jayaruh #425 Synthetic
Pal Injecto-Matic
Vintage PAL Blade
CWR
Brut After Shave

I started with the cold water rinse. The Williams lathered well with the Jayaruh #425. I did one quick pass with the Pal Injecto-Matic razor with a Vintage PAL Blade. After a cold water rinse, I finished with Brut After Shave. I am now clean, smooth, and refreshed.

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

And the hits just keep coming! Continuing with ETHOS and Frank's new offering, "Pineapple" shave soap & splash. This is a fantastic scent! Natural, not overly sweet and very refreshing. with a thick and slick lather built with the Shore Shave synth for three passes with the Rockwell 6S and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching skin food splash and "Succés" EdP. Another winner from Frank. Definitely going to be using this heavily during the summer months.

BBS bliss!!
